MBK

MBK arose in 1984 after Motobecane was closed down. The brand is owned by the Yamaha Group, but bicycles under the MBK brand have been designed in Denmark for quite a few years now. The bikes are produced for the North European market. High quality parts, and excellent build quality are the hallmarks of the MBK brand where it is sold. It caters to the commuter and leisure market. Most models are built around Shimano hub gears and rollerbrakes, and several models with hub dynamos. In the higher end, you will find longer distance commuters and touring bikes, most with derailleur gears and disc brakes.
